Creator Search / Home & Decor

Home & Decor is huge. That is exactly why finding the right creators is hard.

Over 135K people search for home & decor content every month. But there is no such thing as a "home & decorcreator." There are many very different kinds, and a brand needs to know which one fits. Here are a few, to show you what we mean.

Why the same search does not work

Every one of those creators shows up under the same home & decor hashtags and keywords. Search the obvious terms and you get all of them at once, jumbled together. A brand that sells to one of these types is wasting most of the list on the others.

And mixed in are accounts that look right but are not creators at all: furniture retailer / catalog accounts, stock design-inspo reposters, real-estate listing accounts. Great at what they do, wrong for a campaign. Telling them apart is the whole job, and it is the part a keyword search cannot do for you.

The signals we actually search on

There are two ways to find home & decor creators: the words in their bio, and the hashtags on their posts. These are the specific terms that surfaced real, brand-fit creators when we ran an actual scored home & decor search, not a guess.

How these results were normalized

Every creator behind this analysis was drawn from a consistent Instagram pool: 20K to 300K followers, 2%+ engagement, posted within the last 30 days, and reachable with contact info on file. Normalizing on the same band and engagement bar is what makes the fit scores comparable.

Another way to search

Not just by content, by who they have worked with

Content signals are one axis. The other is brand affinity: which brands a creator has already worked with. For home & decor campaigns, that opens up two moves most tools cannot make.

Find proven creators in your space

Surface home & decor creators who have already partnered with brands like yours. They know how to do sponsored content, and they have shown they fit the category.

Screen out your competitors' creators

Or do the reverse: find creators in your space and remove the ones already working with a specific competitor, so you are reaching fresh, unclaimed home & decor creators.

It is a crossover strategy: proven-fit creators when you want reach, or net-new creators when you want to own a space a competitor has not. Both run through the same scoring, so the results stay comparable. We can set this up for your brand.

The content formats worth looking for

Strong home & decor creators tend to work in a few recognizable formats. Knowing these helps you scan a grid in seconds and tell a real creator from an account that just uses the hashtags.

Room makeovers and reveals
Decor hauls and shelf styling
DIY and renovation projects
Before / after transformations
Organization and storage solutions
Seasonal and holiday decor

The accounts that waste a home & decor list

These show up under the same hashtags but are usually not the creators you want for a campaign. Often excellent at what they do, just a different thing. Learn to spot them and your list gets cleaner fast.

Furniture retailer / catalog accounts

Product feeds, not creators, so no personal audience.

Stock design-inspo reposters

Curated mood boards of others content, no original creator.

Real-estate listing accounts

Property listings, not decor content or a creator POV.

General lifestyle where home is incidental

Occasional home posts inside broader lifestyle content.

A few types of home & decor creator, and who each is for

When we scored a real home & decorpool, the same keyword search split into clearly distinct creator types. Here are a few, each with a real example and the kind of brand it fits. A brand searching "home & decor" gets all of them mixed together, which is the problem.

emelozturkicmimarlikk

Interior design creators

7 found

Example: @emelozturkicmimarlikk, Luxury minimalist interior design with editorial personal branding

Best for: Furniture, high-end decor, design services

fannyhalgand

Decor & styling creators

2 found

Example: @fannyhalgand, curated design-object editorial with playful French captioning

Best for: Home decor, seasonal, homeware DTC

herfrenchhome

DIY & renovation creators

2 found

Example: @herfrenchhome

Best for: Tools, paint, hardware, home-improvement

This is the difference between a keyword and a creator type. The right type for your brand is your whole list. The others are noise for you, even though they all show up under the same home & decor search. If you match the "Interior design creators" type, that is where you start.

These are just a few. There are more home & decor creator types, and more creators inside each one, than any single view can show. Finding the right ones for your brand is exactly what we do.
